Download the en.ke apps
Install steps, known limitations and SHA-256 checksums for every build we ship. Files are served from en.ke/downloads — no store account required.
macOS (Apple Silicon)
Fileenke-share-0.1.0-macos-arm64.dmg
Install steps
- Download the .dmg and open it. It is signed with a Developer ID but not notarized by Apple, so a normal double-click will be refused by Gatekeeper.
- On first launch, right-click (or Control-click) the app → Open → confirm Open. You only need to do this once.
- If the warning already appeared, open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to the bottom and click “Open Anyway”.
Known limitations: Not notarized: macOS keeps warning until this build is notarized. Only download it from en.ke and verify the SHA-256 below.
Windows (x64, experimental portable build)
Fileenke-share-0.1.0-windows-x64.zip
Install steps
- Download the .zip and extract it into a folder of your choice — it is portable, there is no installer.
- The app needs the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime; install it from Microsoft if it is missing.
- Run Enke Share.exe. Because the binary is unsigned, SmartScreen shows “Windows protected your PC” — click More info → Run anyway only if you trust the source.
- Any extra DLLs the build needs are shipped in the same zip; keep them next to the .exe.
Known limitations: Experimental build: cross-compiled and not yet verified on real Windows hardware. Expect rough edges; please report issues on GitHub.
Android
Fileenke-share-0.1.0-android.apk
Install steps
- Download the .apk on your phone (or transfer it there) and tap the file to install.
- When Android asks, allow installs from unknown sources for your browser or file manager, then confirm the install.
- The APK is signed with the development key, so later updates are installed over it (not through Google Play).
Known limitations: Dev-signed build: it is not on Google Play and Play Protect may warn you. Only install a file you downloaded from en.ke.
Chrome / Edge extension
Fileenke-chrome-ext-1.2.2.zip
Install steps
- Download the .zip and extract it into a folder you will keep.
- Open chrome://extensions (edge://extensions in Edge), turn on Developer mode, click Load unpacked and select the extracted folder.
- If you would rather get automatic updates, install the Chrome Web Store version instead.
Known limitations: The unpacked folder must stay on disk — Chrome loads the extension from there. This zip is the same build as the store version.
Verify the file
Each line is the SHA-256 hash, two spaces, then the file name. Run shasum -a 256 (macOS/Linux) or Get-FileHash (Windows) on your download and compare it with the values below.
